ok so we are having this heeuge dance party in january with like 90-100 people. the theme is MTV cuz my friends aunt works there and is gonna send us stuff, i dont know how i should decorate so does anyone have any ideas? not too pricey and i dont want obvious stuff like streamers

Go to music stores and/or movie rental places and ask them for their old marketing materials. Like movie and music posters, cardboard cutouts etc. They usually give that stuff away when they are done with it, and since you have plenty time you should be able to get a bunch. Also, you could buy old record albums from garage sales and thrift stores and hang those with fishing line or wherever.

There are so many questions to ask. Is it being held in a hall.?Do they allow things on the walls? Can you hang things from the ceiling? Will you be decorating the tables, buffet tables, bar area? Will you be giving favors to the guests ( something from your aunt )?Are you doing the catering or hiring out? Since it is a dance, what kind of music will be provided? Are you selling tickets ( it will cost to have them printed up)? These are just some of the things you have to consider. Don't forget the cost of the food and drinks, tableware, plates, napkins, cups etc. Make sure the clean up of the hall is included in the cost of renting the hall, or that is another expense. You really need to come up with some sort of a budget.

What is the aunt sending? Im pretty sure that there would b some websiteds with some MTV things. Disco ball obviosly, um a DJ if possible, might b pricey idk. Maybe the aunt can get a DJ or artist or person from MTV.Are you going to have a big hall? Maybe a karaoke machine.

I wouldn't have karaoke with so many people, sorry guys. But, before you go out and buy stuff, see what your aunt is sending and then go from there. Tell us what she sends you and then I can be more helpful with ideas.

also it depends on which style u wnat it 2 be
u could get a disco ball,dj,kareoke,or things that u
can make contest out of
