for this recipe it'll be...

2 tablespoons peanut oil
2 tablespoons garlic, minced
3 tablespoons oyster sauce
fresh ginger, grated (optional)
1/2 cup chicken stock or canned broth

Heat wok or deep pan over high heat until it is hot. Add oil and wait until it is smoking, add ginger and garlic and leave for a minute or so.
Then add the oyster sauce and stock simmering for another few minutes.
Pour over your favorite fried rice, white rice or meat, especially chicken.

Garlic Sauce Calories

Most of them are a combination of peanut oil and soy sauce, with garlic and other spices thrown in. So it isn't fat free, but it's not bad fat either. And because of the variations, I can't give you a guess on the calories. What's the worst thing about the sauces is that they are very high in salt. If you're concerned about fat and calories, the best thing is to order the steamed dishes.

Every restaurant makes it differently so it's going to be impossible to tell. If you tell them you're trying to keep the calories down they can make sure to give you a low fat garlic sauce (the calories in it usually come from oil).
