Okay I know its a little soon to be thinking about a party in November, but I want it to be my best birthday ever. I have no idea what to do. I am thinking about 40-50 people maybe more, maybe less. I dont wanna throw an extravagent MTV bash (although it would be nice =] ). I want it to be cool and I want people to have a good time, but I dont want my parents spending my college fund, you know? Any ideas at all will be greatly appreciated. <3

It's never too soon to start planning a party. Have a club themed party. Just because you don't have MTV money doesn't mean that you can't have a club party. It's all in the decorations. Buy a ton of white christmas lights and decorate your house with them. Also string together blank cd's and separate doorways with them. Have a signature "mocktail" and a non alcoholic champagne for a birthday toast to you. Make a VIP section for yourself decorated with candles, flowers, snacks, etc.

go to chubbycheese, nice and cheap, just joking
Instead of having fifty people, that come celebrate your birthday with you, why dont you and some of your best friends. Do something, instead of trying to impress fifty people that will just forget it the next week, plus you got to cover party snacks and a location that will hold fifty people, which is probaly about a quarter of your money gone. and you've seen how MTV 16s go, theres always a problem with people in the party fighting and crashing the party

Well, for my 16th birthday i took all my friends to laser quest and we had a blast there. And then we went to the movies and shopped around. For dinner, we went back home ordered pizza, and had all the comfort food you could imagine !! Oh, and it was a slumber party.

My friends loved it & the best tip is, keep it original and simple.
& for the slumber party, im sure your not gonna be allowed to let 40-50 people sleep over, but i guess you could let some stay!
