One of my favorite dish too. Emril just did a Key West show tonight, and it had a conch fritter recepe.

Grew up in Calif. where we had abalone so when I got conch it was familiar. Yeah good stuff, can't get it in Ok. though. And canned abalone is outrageously expensive. Otherwise I would have conch chowder and Chinese abalone soup all winter.

Rarely get it but I like it. I recently had curried conch in Jamaica and it was very good also.

Conch, abalone, and monk fish. My all time favorites. Abalone is way too expensive though.
