Actually, this is a fairly common practice in many tropical locations. I wouldn't really call them pets, but it is not uncommon to find gekkos being allowed inside houses to control insects.

I think you mean gekko. You would need a lot of gekkos to keep up with the insects, then what do you do with the gekkos?

Know the story about the mice, cats, dogs, lions, elephants, mice?

That is basically what you are suggesting.

also chamelions ,iguanas ,frogs ,lizards,toads

birds like.
bantam chickens or silkeys, guinney fowl,partridge


all are clasified as organic pest control
