i take my z-pack pill in the morning, and i wanna know if i can take nyquil before bed...

Rule number one with medications is ask your doctor or pharmacist. They can give you the right answer. Also, keep track of what meds you are allergic to or that might react. Now, as a general answer, Z pack is an antibiotic, Nyquill is not, however, nyquil contains alcohol which when mixed with ANY med, can cause problems. Always revert to rule number one.

Yes you can take Nyquil with antibiotics.

I would say yes as you take the zpack in the am and the nyquil in the night; so your not mixing them..

No problem with taking the two together. He might want to see if his doc will prescribe him some Tussinex, codeine based cough syrup. Very effective stuff. Half a teaspoon stops my cough in about 20 minutes and I sleep well.
