For the past week my breath has been smelling really bad, like sour and morning breath and it lasts the whole day. I noticed that it's really bad when I drink a sugary drink like soda or slurpee. And the smell is there even after brushing and cleaning my tongue. But when I drink water or diet soda my breath is fine. So basically this happens whenever I drink something sweet. Does this mean I could have diabetes and my body cannot tolerate sugar, so whenever I drink something sweet it makes my breath stink?? This never happened before.

That's not a sign of diabetes. It sounds more like dental problems to me.

I've been Diabetic for 7 years. When I get too high of a blood sugar level, escpecially when I'm about to sleep, I will wake up with a fruity taste in my mouth, and my breath will be terrible. Although the breath isn't very common for me, whenever I get high sugar levels, my mouth DOES get a terrible taste in it that won't go away until I've lowered myself. Get yourself checked.

No bad breath is a symptom of not brushing your teeth correctly if you have any of the following
* Frequent urination
* Excessive thirst
* Extreme hunger
* Unusual weight loss
* Increased fatigue
* Irritability
* Blurry vision
then its time to go grab some insulin

Diabetes would not cause this. It sounds like you might have gingivitis or a bacterial infection of the tongue or throat. Bacteria love sugar, and bacterial infections smell pretty bad. I would see your dentist pronto.

No that doesn't even come close to any symptoms of Diabetes. You should really see a doctor if your concerned.

No. It means use mouthwash. You've got bacteria in your mouth and bacteria eat sugar. Everytime you drink something really sweet, they grow like crazy. Just use some mouthwash and that should kill it.

No that does not mean you have diabetes. You do need to see the doc though if it continues.
