I make them at least once a week. I buy Mission corn chips at Ralphs, break them up and put them on a plate. I cook hamburger (or chicken). Brown the hamburger meat, drain well of all grease, add a small can of tomato sauce, cook it up. Spread some on top of the broken chips, I make a nice regular salad. Lettuce, tomato, celery, bell pepper, carrots or anything else you like in a salad. Top with shedded cheese and I use Thousand Island dressing or sour cream. Sometimes avocado. Yummy.

I brown ground beef, sometimes with some onions. Then throw it in a big bowl with shredded lettuce, shredded cheddar cheese, broken doritoes, some olives, sometimes kidney beans, some cut up tomato, and anyother toppings I might put on a taco. Then I use one of three dressings---either taco sauce, or a mixture of ketchup and mayo (mixed to a light pink color), or green goddess salad dressing. I stir it all up and serve. All of it goes at every get together, especially the ketchup and mayo (or miracle whip, depending on your preference).
