I had a free glucose test done yesterday at a drugstore. It was about 9:30 in the morning and I hadn't ate anything. My results were 113 and I'm wondering is that high or just right.

I also have all the symptoms of diabetes. Increased hunger, thirst, urination. Abdominal pain, light-headed, etc. My family has a history of diabetes.

Unfortunately when asking questions in this forum you get what you pay for. A 'free' answer may be worse than worthless. The individual that states '113 is fine' is incorrect. I am not saying that you have diabetes but a fasting glucose above 100 mg/dL (5.6 mmol/L) does raise an eyebrow. If you have family members with diabetes then you should have access to a glucometer. Take 3 fasting glucose readings and if 2 or 3 are above 100 then you should see a physician. If it is not convenient for you to have access to a glucometer when you are fasting take 3 readings after eating. It really does not matter how long after eating. If 2 or 3 readings are above 140 mg/dL (7.8 mmol/L) then you should see a physician. The range of glucose excursion for a non-diabetic is about 70 to 140 mg/dL (3.9 to 7.8 mmol/L) day and night irrespective of when what and how much you eat. I hope that you do not have diabetes but I really feel that you should take that 113 reading seriously and obtain additional readings. God bless.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

101-125 when fasting is in the pre-diabetes category. Do not wait. Go to the doctor. You need to treat this with diet and exercise, especially with a family history.

Best thing to do is get this tested by your primary care physician again.
