I am thinking of creating a 'candy topiary' seen on Martha Stewart but want to create it with a brown/pink/white color scheme as opposed to random candy.

Some of those Lindt truffles have pretty foil wrappers, all colors. But I'm thinking you'll go broke buying enough of those!

How about rewrapping peppermints in squares of mylar in your color scheme? Then hot glue them to the topiarty. Or wrap your topiarty "trunk" in brown mylar, and use pink, white, and silver for the "ball" of it.

Jordon almonds for whatever reason are the wedding favorite traditional candies.
I would make chocolate candies on a stick, just but white chocolate and add food coloring.

How about those Neapolitan (chewy coconut) candies that Brachs makes? They're pink, white and brown.

make your own out of fabric or paper and ribbon from the craft store..even bulk unwrapped candy you could make little beggars purses.
