None.

Who told you this was a good dessert idea?
Most red wines are dry and strawberies are tart-yuck!
I'd maybe switch to garnishing a cheap domestic champagne with your fruit.
Cause the redwine/strawberry mix ain't going to work, uh-uh, nope.

Appears your question drew the attention of the "Vinegar Crowd" the answer recommending port is good. However, there are some other ideas for your consideration. Buy an inexpensive bottle of Sangria. One glass of the sangria, one tablespoon of both honey and brandy. Let sit in the fridge for two or three hours. Then warm to room temp and pour over the strawberries. By the way, if you cut up the strawberries the day before, place then in a medal bowl, sprinkle just enough powered sugar to cover the fruit, and then refrigerate them overnight. Also, let them warm to room temperature before serving. Bon apetite

Try a really good, well-aged balsamic vinegar (at least 5 years old - but older is better) and a bit of sugar - better than wine.

balsamic vinegar would be much better, you heat some balsamic on the stove with some sugar to dissolve and reduce it by half then pur over straberries, you can have some whipped cream on the side or even vanilla gelato

I would say Lindemans Framboise. While its actaully made w/ raspberries and considered a beer, all pouring it over berries would do is accent their flavor tremendously...like a chmpagne and strawberry type thing. It's so good!!

actually i recommend that you drink the wine of your choice and prepare a reduced balsamic vinegar sauce to pour over the strawberries. it may sound a bit off - but the balsamic when reduced has a sweetness that enhances the natural flavour of the strawberries.
