No, multivitamin tablets cannot cure knee pain. what they do is feed your body the nutrition it needs and cannot get from your daily diet. Everyone needs to take a multivitamin tablet to support the body and increase energy.

The vitamins will help your general health.
For knee pain (I had two horrible years with Rheumatoid Arthritis in both knees.) The following are what I used and my final result. Ibuprofen to reduce the swelling and inflammation. Ice to help reduce the heat when you are just sitting.
The Best was a hinged knee brace, not the pull on elastic.
It takes your body weight off of your knee joint. It worked wonders for me.
Next I did 9 days on Prednizone and it cleared the knees 99 percent. And they have been very good for 2 years.
Unless you have been diagnosed with an autoimmune problem I would think that the knee brace would be your best bet for a basic knee injury.
Good Luck.

No.
Multivitamins and vitamins in general are crap.
Eat healthy and real food. Drink only clean water. No processed foods. (For some people avoiding milk and dairy product, and all kinds of wheat too, make them feel better.)
Sugar, junk food, flour should be avoided if you want to be healthy.
Rest your sore knee. After the pain stops do gentle exercising. Over exercising does more damage than good. Swimming is good.
