Before someone jumps on my case, I know women play games too! I'm just talking about men in this case.

I've been practically drooling over this guy since last December. One of my friends told him in May that I liked him. I was mad at first, since I told her to say NOTHING, but I was relieved that he finally knew. He's been overly friendly and talkative to me ever since. HE told my friend he'd "talk to me" and granted he has, but its not the "talk" I was expecting. All of my friends see how he stares at me, comes to my job looking for me, etc and they are convinced that he likes me.

When I gave him my number on Tuesday, he just smiled and he seemed like he was on cloud 9. I saw him on Thursday morning and he was still nice to me. He held the door open for me, he walked behind me (maybe he likes my butt? I dunno lol) and we had a mini conversation, but nothing about the note and # I gave him.

It took me MONTHS to get the courage to give him my #.

How long must I wait for a call???

Does anyone have any tips for me? Lets say if he doesn't. Or any tips on first date ideas?

He's in his early 20s. He's a very friendly guy, but he's the kind of person that says nothing to anyone unless you talk to him first.

I don't have his #. We are both in our early 20s. I just think that he's never been pursued by women and maybe he's scared? I dunno, but the waiting is making my nerves jump. He seemed happy on Tuesday and Thursday when I saw him and we talked both days, so I just don't get it.

Sorry that this "question" is so long lol.

How old is the guy in question? Based on what I have read on your question so far he is probably teenage/high school age. If that is the case, he is probably scared to make the first move. He is afraid to break the ice even though he knows you like him that way.

Another reason could be that as a guy he isn't used to a woman persuing him for a change instead of being the one traditionally having to do all the chasing. Give it a little more time. Give him a call and ask him out. If he is still won't make his move, then it is obvious that he is too much of a scaredy-pants to do so.

Uhm, it doesn't sound like he's paying any games. It sounds like your both young, probably high school students with little experience with the opposite sex or dating. He sounds a bit shy and you both sound nervous.

It could take him awhile to call you. It depends. It took my now husband a few weeks to call me, but that was just because he had to get rid of his girlfriend at the time haha, but don't worry. If he doesn't call you, why don't you call him?
