maybe just a short text saying you had a great time last night and you are looking forward to next week, just to let her know you like her, but not to much to make her txt back

I think that you should text her as every girl after a great evening expects that from a man, but when you do text don't over do it, just tell her that you had a great time last night and that you cant wait to see her next week, then leave it up to her and see what her response is, if she gives you a positive text back then you know that you aren't considered as needy. Then give her a day or two before you text her again remember to make the moves when you get a positive result every time.

Keep going at the pace you are going and I think you will surely end up in the "friend's" zone. Let the time pass and never EVER make future plans with a woman. Let there be a little mystery and mystique buddy, why let her know that you're fully interested when you might have other options out there available?
Someone very wise once told me that "you never ever put all of your eggs in one basket". Sure this girl is great but it's only been one date. I believe you sound like a guy who should be out dating more than one woman and playing the field. Why settle when you may have better options available? If you text or call her right away, you WILL sound needy, so DON'T DO IT! :)

Just tell her that you would like to thank her, because you had a really great time. Then call her in a couple of days

well, if you're not meeting her until next week i think you could text her today and may be 2 days later and that's enough this way you won't see too needy and not pretty much neglecting her either

Call or text her once or twice before the date. It'll show you still care and are excited to be with her, yet showing you are not overly desperate, even if you are.
When the date actually does come around, remember to show her you like her by holding her hand or something like that.

Yeah you're being a little impatient. Give it a few days. Maybe he was busy today or something.

Text her or call her today to thank her again for going out with you. Don't wait on this one. It makes her feel appreciated and will make her look forward to going out with you again.
Ladies like it when you call them, but don't overdue it by calling her every hour.
