my "boy" cat was on the deck about 5 hours ago, and something, attacked him, right now he's curled up on my sisters bed, and his fur on his face is a little see through, and a little redish, and his body seems bigger than it usually is, like puffy. and he's meowing alot, we can pet him but he acts like it hurts, on the deck there was feces of soemthing, but it was very wierd looking, and dry on one end but wet the rest. my mother thinks whoever attacked him squeezed him very hard and screwed up his intestines and forced feces out, but we don't know, but theres grey and white fur everywhere "my cats white by the way too"

If the catwas attacked by something, anyone in the house will know about it becuase cats that are in any kind of fight will yawl up a storm - I mean, have you ever witnessed a cat fight? Very noisy. Also, it is quite normal for a frightened cat to void his bowels (poo and pee). When my cat was attacked by a neighbor's cat long ago when he was still very young, he pood and peed as he ran and fought. Anyway, I doubt that your cat is "dying." He must be hurting though. If he was dying, he'd be hiding. He probably seems "puffy" to you becuase he's got his fur puffed up - some cats do that when they are trying to comfort themselves. You need to take your cat to a vet as soon as possible to make certain that there are no internal injuries. Can you try an emergency vet? If not, get him to one first thing in the morning. In the meantime, give him fresh water to keep him hydrated. Keep him warm and dry and as comfortable as you can manage. See if he will eat. If he does, that is a very good sign. But do take him to a vet in the morning.

It's pretty obvious that your cat was indeed attacked by something. It could have been attacked by another cat. It could have been attacked by a dog. As for the feces, that's a normal happening when being attacked.
Racoons are quite prevelent in most areas. So that could be another possibility. In that case your cat may have even bigger problems.
Instead of trying to guess what happened or what attacked your cat why hasn't anyone taken the cat to the vet. instead of letting him/her lay there and suffer more. Only a vet. can make some kind of diegnosis and give your cat a pain releaver.
It may be 2:30 AM in the morning, but there are 24 hr. vet. services. I can't for the live of me understand how anyone can sleep knowing the hell this animal has been through. It's just not right. Your cat deserves better.
On the other hand, if you choose to let your cat outdoors then you take your chances that something like this can happen.
To a wild animal your cat is a food source. Wild animals do what they do to servive even if that means your cat.
People need to get educated about the ricks they take by letting their cats become "out door" cats.

Sometimes when cat's get into fights with other cat's or other animals and do get frightened, they will poo themselves which could be any texture. Also, they are likely to be a little fragile afterwards and can meow alot if they are still in a bit of shock. However, if you think he's in pain, which only you can tell, it's best to take him to a vet to be on the safe side. Perhaps try food, if he's unwell, the first sign will be that he won't eat.

Umm, why haven't you called the vets office for the emergency number? Call the vet, my god, there is nothing you can do by yourself. Describe everything to vet, and take feces with you, just in case. The squeezing thing is a bit of an off notion, since you've provided no evidence of why you think it would have occurred that way. Could have been stepped on, could be allergic reaction. Get to the vet if pet still alive, they will call back if you leave message at emergency number.

Cats are amazing animals. They can recover from a lot of things that we think might kill 'em. A trip to a vet would not be a bad idea, but he'll either die or recover pretty much on his own.
I had a cat that survived being bitten by a rattlesnake, getting shot, and getting into fights with other cats. When my ex-wife and I split so did he. Never found out what happened to him. He was a good cat, too.

He sounds like he's in alot of pain, I wouldn't take any chances, it isn't normal for a cat to act that way. And if he is dying he wouldn't be able to get up to hide anywhere. Just call the vet and take their advice, and do it quickly, every moment counts!

its possible a dog might have or some wild animal. you didnt hear anything? take him to the vet if you assume something is wrong with the entestines. theres nothing you can do on your own, give him some benadryl (half a tablet) and take him to the vet. Cat know when there gonna die so they avoid human contact. TAKE him TO the VETTTT!!!

Usually when a cat knows it is dying it hides. Like behind somewhere where you would not normally find him.
I hope all turns out well.

Swelling like that probably means internal injury and could end up a secondary cause of death - PLEASE oh PLEASE get him to a vet.
If there is anything to be done - it is better to get vet help early, before infection can set in. 5 hours may have been too long...but I hope not.
wrap him gently in the blanket or towel he is on and get the to a vet - my thoughts and hopes are with you!
