Sounds like you have been taken by a con-merchant.
Typical Cheque Cashing scam operates like this :-
The Nigerian scam merchant 'recruits' a victim in UK to 'cash cheques' for him.
You 'receive' commission ... typically 10-20% ... and 'forward' (usually via Western Union) the balance to him ...
Shock Horror .. after you have 'cashed' the first few they start to 'bounce' (in fact, every one is a forgery / stolen / fake) ... but you have already sent on the balance ...

which will probable count on whether you're an worker or a contractor (non-earnings taxed) individual. in case you're an worker, I doubt the action is criminal. touch your states government employment branch. an identical branch you're able to bypass to for unemployment centers in case you have been laid off or harm and asked state provider. In Texas it’s referred to as Texas artwork tension value in Ohio it’s referred to as Ohio Hiring administration centers. purely Google, Yahoo or regardless of your decision and variety interior the state call and employment provider and navigate from there. good success.
