I mean for me the Ayers rock looks as if it's only like 70-100m high, I got so surprised when I learnt that it's way taller than the Sydney tower. It looks so small for me.

that's because you're looking it from pictures, and in pictures, it doesnt look that high. when you actually go there yourself, and you go to sydney tower, then you'd see a difference in height between them. sydney tower stands at 305 metres whereas uluru (ayers rock) stands at 348 metres

Sydney tower is 305 meters tall.
800 > 305.
