People think losing weight is a hard thing, but it actually isn't. It's as easy as 1-2-3 and I'll show you.
In order to loose weight, you first need to identify problems areas, in wich I mean you need to find the reason why you are gaining weight. Is it depression, setback, stress, ...
Once you have defined the reason, it's time to craft a solution.
I would suggest getting a reading first on your BMR (Basale Metabolic Rate). What BMR shows you, is the amount of calories you need to keep your weight status quo. No gain, no loss.
Once the BMR is calculated, you need to find out what your AMR is (Active Metabolic Rate). This is measured in physical activity. The more you move around and excercise, the higher your DER is (Daily Energie Requirement).
I would suggest you calculate using this tool to calculate BMR, AMR and DER.

So now that you have the most important factors, it's simple. Count calories and excercise. You will need to count some calories on the food you buy. There are free tools out there that let you keep track of your calorie intake and give hints.
Here's a small tip that will get your pretty far: stay away from processed foods and lean cuisine meals. Premade food, can contain up to 4X the amount of calories as to when you make the exact same meal with fresh ingredients.
Now that you count calories, you need to excercise aswell. Why? This will help you lose weight faster and you will feel alot better physically.
No need to hit the gym for 4 hours, just a nice walk at moderate pace every day for about 30 min (walk your dog if you have one).
If there are any other questions you have or you need some more hints and tips, you can always contact me.

Think about what you are eating first. I was really overweight, and didn't even exercise that much. You just have to set limits when you wake up. Keep track of what your intake is for the day. A lot of time people eat to pass time, don't let yourself do that. If you are bored and have nothing to do, do a puzzle or play a game. You need to keep your hands active, and it will keep your mind off of eating when you dont need too.
Keep a lot, and I mean a lot of bottled water and low calorie flavored drinks. I like propel, and each bottle only has 20 or so calories. Go for things like crystal lite. Try to find drinks that are under 50 calories per serving. Either water, or something with flavor. If you think you are going to eat something, grab a bottle and drink it all if you have to. Liquids fill you up and settle faster than food, so you dont have to consume things you don't need and you feel full right away.
You'll be fine, give it a few months and see where you are at. Don't worry about the scale, as much as what you want to see yourself as.

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

there must be at least 30 minutes in your day when you can do some exercise. i'm sure you are not studying all hours of your day. and if you're eating all the time, try to replace your fatty and sugary snacks with healthy ones like fruits and veggies or nuts. instead of asking this question you should go exercise a little. just do 100 jumping jacks.

Just work our for 30 minutes a day and 3 days a week. C'mon girl you know you got time. You're just not committed. Eat lots of protein, rasberries, bananas, spinachs, and lean meats. Drink only water and low fat milk. Eat yogurt as your snack you will be straight.
Peace.

Look in the mirror and hug yourself. Love yourself first and then after that, if you love yourself enough to get yourself to the gym so you can be more healthy , then so be it. If not, just love yourself for the fact you are doing well in school (I hope) , and that you're a good person/student...Many overweight people are not only heavy but also unhappy. I say deal with one problem at a time. Good luck

That's your first mistake, saying you don't have time to exercise, so you're trying to skate around the issue. Everyone has time to exercise, no matter how busy you are. You're certainly wasting time on here instead of exercising. If you're serious about losing weight, then get up and do something about it.
