My dogs bark at dark people more than light skinned people. It's not just one race its just dark people in general. Does anyone think it has somthing to do with them seeing in black and white? Perhaps dark people look like shadows or somthing.

It just has to do with them being unsocialized with darker skinned people. I am guessing that you and your family is lighter skinned, and your dogs were not exposed to darker people during their socialization period (up to 16 weeks).
Its hard to correct the behaviors of unsocialized dogs, because those first 16 weeks are so important, but you can do it if you really want to! Get a darker skinned friend to come over, and praise the dogs and give them treats when they are nice.

My dog is the same way. Our neighbor's kids have dark skin and they throw rocks at my dog. She never had a problem with them before though. Maybe someone with dark skin angered your dog in some way. If that's not the case, then yeah it could be the fact that you're light-skinned and that's what the dog's use to.

my dog is not, but this is not an uncommon problem. When dogs are being socialized it is important that they see different races, ages, sexes and heights on their outings. the more public places and more people the dog interacts with the better.

Different races smell totally differently. I once tried to get my dog into a public phone booth with me, after it was vacated by an aboriginal person, and the dog pulled the collar off, and took off down the street. I believe it works both ways.

once i wore this black dress and she got scared, and our workers walk into our house to paint and stuff liek that and she's really friendly with them

MY DOG (GERMAN SHEPARD) LOVES PEOPLE AND KIDS SO NO ITS NOT AFRAID OF DARK PEOPLE. UNLESS YOU GOT HANK HILLS "LADYBIRD" FOR A PET. LOL!!
