I read the Skeptic's Bible. It was Funny how they asked the same questions I did before I came to faith in Christ. I studied out the language that the scripture was written in. I mean I read it in the Hebrew, Greek, Semitic and Aramic. I took a good look at the History and the Evidence there of. It seem that the person who wrote this skeptic's Bible did not do the same. I feel every has the right to thier own opinion, but I wish some poeple would be more open to looking at why people believe as they do. Some people have a good reasons for being a Christian, or Atheist. Know the facts before you attack them. I was not saved until I was 27. I have seen the Atheist Facts all my life. My brother and I square off over this all the time. He is an Atheist. So I see every new little thing that comes along. I put it through the test and most of the time With in a little research I find it's wrong. I have put the scripture through this same test but have found it to be correct.

Every piece of literature will seem to make sense once you read the apologists' rationalizations if you do not balance it out with reading the opposing viewpoints.

Have you ever wondered why the alleged word of an alleged perfect deity would need apologists? Why would the alleged word of god need apologists' interpretations?

i've got examine the Bible, i won't be able to deny that it relatively is a robust piece of literature, the place i come across issues of it relatively is that it is not authentic, lots of the memories are pilfered from different older religions. The source of the Bible continues to be the unknown, it grow to be written with the aid of guy, after the fact of those activities, and individuals ask your self the way it envisioned a majority of those activities etc etc, it relatively is particularly person-friendly to foretell once you already be responsive to the effect years later. additionally it places women down, asserting they could be no longer so good as guy (notably while it comprises the church, women have not have been given any rights different than bible study), it rather is basically ludicrous in case you rather look into it for what it relatively is. You and your priest/pastor can interpret it how ever they desire to greater healthful what they are greater pushing. Edit on your Edit - confident i'd examine Greek Myths and that i've got, yet on an analogous foundation that they are myths, thats it.

It's not the skeptic's Bible.
it's the blasphemer's bible.
We shall come to see whose words stand,
theirs, or God's.
