I have red blotches, some small, some 1/2 way up my legs. On top of my feet around toes, and around my ankles. It looks like broken blood vessels have popped and the blood is oozing under the skin.

I have fleabitis, spelled wrong, but i think you understand what I am saying.
Yes, my legs go numb if I squat or sit to long, what can I take over the counter to help with this problem of them going numb?
Also, I was told by a doctor, that if I drink 2 oz. of wine each day, that my blood will stay thin enough, is that true?

See your family Dr. He probably knows what it is and the ER charges a LOT more.

Depending on your weight, age and health, it could be an allergic reaction from something you have eaten, rubbed on your body, walked thru, or washed your pants/socks in.
Or it could be the beginning of circulation problems in your lower legs from poor health, overweight, or age.

Pulmonary Vascular Disease starts with red blotches on the ankles, shins and top of the foot. Tingling and feelings of something crawling on your legs are signs that the blood flow is being slowed down.

If you sit for long periods of time and feel tingling and numbness in your legs when you get up, you are sitting too long and can develop blood clots.
If the reddened areas do not go away, a visit to your doctor is a good idea. He/she can run tests to determine the cause.

It sounds like an allergic reaction to something. Even if you haven't been allergic to simple medicines before, you can BECOME allergic.
