marinating lemon chicken with coke. Actually quite tasty. Just some normal lemon chicken with a dash of coke - it kinda cooks the chicken lol.

Okay, this is really simple and maybe a little dorky, but I've always loved the jello my mom makes sometimes.

You use black cherry flavored jello and use only 1/2 the called-for water, substituting Coke for the rest of the liquid. You must use Coke from a can only. Coke from a bottle or plastic does not work, but the Coke from a can gives it a wonderful "fizzy" feel after the jello sets, and the flavor is good with black cherry. Then you add in a drained can of cherries and let the jello set up.

I've tried this with other flavors of jello and sodas like Sprite, but none of them work as well as the Coke.

Only the bestest most scrumptious rib recipe ever...

1 cup brown sugar
1 can Coca-Cola®
2 medium onions, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 tbs. soy sauce
salt and pepper to taste
2-3 lbs. ribs

In a large casserole, combine the brown sugar, Coca-Cola®, onions, garlic, soy sauce, salt and pepper. Stir until mixed. Place ribs in sauce mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours. To thicken sauce, mix in a cornstarch mixture.
Delicious served with rice.

You can use pork (which is what I prefer) beef or even use chicken wings.

Here's one.Take a can of cheap canned biscuits, pull them apart. Then chunk an apple, all sizes the same. Now butter a casserole dish well.Put the apple chunks inside the biscuits and wrap biscuit around them.(a little package)Roll them in brown sugar and set them in the dish.Pour a Sprite or Mt.Dew to cover the packages.Add a little dab of butter(if you like)Then bake at 350 till brown and bubbly...Good to the last one.I do 2 cans and 2 sodas for my family in a large casserole.Do not pack the packages down....

A friend of mine once gave me a chicken recipe for the BBQ or oven. You marinade your chicken with your favorite marinades that you have. Then get a can of coke and empty about a 1/4 of it in a glass (you may drink it lol) If you have a stand for the chicken, place your chicken on it and place the can of coke under the chicken. Place something underneath to catch all the juices. Then cook it. The coke helps keep your chicken moist and tender!

"Black Cow"

Put a scoop or two of chocolate ice cream in a large mug or soda glass and add coke to it.

Top it off with a straw , UM_M_M_M_M

I've made Coca-Cola BBQ sauce (was from Disneyworld, see first link for recipe).

Also, Ming Tsai (Simply Ming on PBS) uses club soda (instead of water) in his tempura batter (makes it lighter).

And Alton Brown (Good Eats on food network) uses Dr. Pepper as a sort of glaze on country ham.

I can't remember, but I know there's a way to use soda in the place of other ingredients when making cake. If I remember, I'll let you know.

Coca-cola chocolate cake.

Although, there are tons of cola-cake recipes out there on the internet.

I've also heard of a Japanese stew that you make by adding "Mitsuya Cider" (kind of like 7-up) to, but I think it's too sweet.
