There are actually many things you can do, you just have to figure out which is the appropriate one for you. Getting more than enough sleep is not the only answer especially when your head is low.Try using two pillows instead of one, trust me it works.
Other than that, use an eye gel which is better 'cause it's lighter for the eye area, and drink as much water as you can, it realy makes a hell of a difference. Put teabags in the freezer for ten minutes and then apply to the area for about a quarter of an hour. Raw potato, slices of cuccumber and cold tea spoons applied on the area also work. Good luck!

There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water & stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath & let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K & Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

Some say by putting soaked tea bags on them, by placing cucumber slices. Dark rings under your eyes can also mean an allergy to something that you are eating or using. I would suggest getting an allergy test done at your doctors office. Good Luck,

Sometimes dark circles are caused by allergies, put wet tea bags on your eyes.

Cucumber also helps eyes look rested.

Teabags and spoons are good, but a friend of mine swears that Preparation H is the way to go. She puts a tiny smidgen on her pinky finger and rubs it gently underneathe her eyes. I haven't done this! If you try this, be very careful! Do not get it in your eyes. :)
