Is it too late to get a summer job? Does anyone have any ideas about what might be a good (maybe fun) summer job?

It depends what you're looking for. If you're looking for something like an internship with a company to help you later on in life, probably not.

However, if its just something for the summer, then theres lots of things that are still hiring since many high schools have just finished and students are beginning to look for summer jobs. The retail industry is a pretty high turnover one and with summer sales they're always looking for new people. Most of the positions need no prior experience nor are they training intensive. keep in mind however, that the pay isn't extraordinary and in many cases minimum wage. Some suggestions though are Hollister, American Eagle, Aeropostale, Pac Sun, J Crew, Abercrombie and Fitch, and Gap.

I myself am working at the Abercrombie and Fitch this summer and in terms of fun, i'd say it is quite fun because everyone is really social and laid back and it seems the same thing at all those other stores too.

Regardless, keep looking because there's still a lot of job opportunities out there.

No its not to late. Summer officially started yesterday.
You didn't mention your age. But you could try babysitting, if you are old enough, work at a fast food restaurant?
