My 2004 Ranger tops out at 93. It is limited and I was just wondering if anyone knew how to fix that or take off the limiter or if its electronically limited how to change that? Thank you. Oh and legally.

not legally, and are you sure your doing 93? larger tires will give you higher speeds. Use a GPS to get your actual speed

Get a Jet performance computer chip. It will eliminate the limiter. Also, the Jet computer will work well with an aftermarket intake and exhaust, giving you a noticable power increase. It is kind of funny that you are worried about being legal, when you want to go faster than 93.

Tops out at 93???? What gear ratio do you have in the rear end? Are you running a set of 6.10's

If this is not the case, you may need to get a chip programmer and modify the program to increase top speed. good luck.

I'm sure someone makes a chip for it. The problem is you will need to upgrade your suspension which is why the tires and truck are rated at about that speed.

Its not safe to go that fast in your Ranger.

superchips, hypertech, offers powerprogramers and flashpaqs that can reset (not remove) the rev limiter and speed limiter
