You are Curious ?! to know about Lord Ganesha - You have to learn and read more and more, to know more about Hinduism and Hindu Gods and Goddesses. I tell you this because I believe Lord Ganesha was on the earth and still he is.

You can ask any question but only thing is that you should learn to respect others feelings and have inclinations to learn really. Then you will not ask such question.

It is just like some one asking Who is the real father of Jesus ? God ! God had affairs Virgin Mary and Jesus was born ? The how she was considered Virgin ? A Whole lot of confusion and I think you are literate enough to explain us.- Best of luck -

Very true. No religion and culture has as much symbolism and allegory as Hindu religion and the culture of the Indians. Besides, the philosophy of the Hindus as propounded in the Vedas and Upanishads are depicted and embedded in the epics of the Hindus like Ramayana and Mahabharata. While I do not say that they are totally fictitious, it is through the stories of the heroes in these epics, the philosophy of the Hindus are well exemplified and taught to the common man. In no other religion, an illiterate was as philosophical and ethically trained as in India and the religion is the fact the epics like Ramayana taught a common man the essential values of ethical living through these epics. The architecture of the Hindu temples, especially in South India, also conform to the symbolic pattern. The long spires are considered by a devout Hindu as the face of the body that the temple is supposed to be. The lofty 'gopuram' or the pagoda is a veritable god for a common man.

Ganesha is just another figure to depict an ancient man's vision of god.

God is merely the energy that exists in around us, governing the universe.

Energy cannot be destroyed but can be converted into many forms. ( this sentence is an accepted scientific law).

Energy can be converted even into matter.
{ E=m(c*c), Einstein's equation }

One never realizes that his/her thoughts have unimaginable powers. If not then one must question prayers.

If a worshiper imagines god in the form of Ganesha then he will appear in that form to him/her.

Therefore one cannot truly say whether such events occurred or not. Science can and must accept that it could have due to the above mentioned reasons.

I am not a Hindu literate but i am a Hindu.

He may have not walked on Earth but he created it. God is only one but worshipped in different forms and Lord Ganesha is one of those forms. You tried not to be offensive but you miserably failed.
