It's funny how some people are furious about having an end to pornography and it's even funnier that their only justification is the terms "Legal" ...
I support you all the way, this is not a frivolous matter. I don't know what should be done though, I came here looking for something to do to help.
I just wish people weren't too oblivious to the greater picture, that not only those involved in pornography are the victims, but also all those surrounding them are affected too..

Well, in my personal opinion I don't think anybody will ever be able to stop porn from being on the internet. Not saying that I support it, I just think it's impossible.
Fighting against online child predators is a noble cause but I'm not sure what as an individual you can really do. Perhaps you could volunteer to act as a baiter for predators (someone who pretends to be a child so the predator will get caught trying to meet them for sexual reasons), or you could go on different websites and try to get them to put up online safety rules.

To dream the impossible dream To fight the unbeatable foe To bear with unbearable sorrow To run where the brave dare not go To right the unrightable wrong To love pure and chaste from afar To try when your arms are too weary To reach the unreachable star This is my quest To follow that star No matter how hopeless No matter how far To fight for the right Without question or pause To be willing to march into Hell For a heavenly cause And I know if I'll only be true To this glorious quest That my heart will lie peaceful and calm When I'm laid to my rest And the world will be better for this That one man, scorned and covered with scars Still strove with his last ounce of courage To reach the unreachable star Good luck with that... Oh yea watch out for windmills Don Quixote....

What do you mean pornography "in general" I understand the serious concern about the child pornography issue, but pornography in general is not illegal, or even a real issue, if you don't like it, don't look at it. There is nothing wrong with legal pornography, keep your concern focused on those breaking the law, not those you disagree with. just a thought.

When people are adults they can make the decision about what they want to do and how open about it they want to be

The best thing people can do is BE AWARE OF WHAT THEIR KIDS ARE DOING!
That is the only truly effective response to this problem.
Everything else is only minimally effective, extremely complicated, or eye-candy for the general public in a political sense.
