Of course he's an American! Look at how the U.S continent continues to prevail and advance- while my people continue to starve, grieve and suffer all sorts of plagues in Africa preordained through the will of God! Over 400,000 thousand people have been slaughtered in Sudan at this point, and the U.S refused to get involved until recently when Bush planned to intervene. Isn’t he early? My people are yet to endure more epidemic plagues, calamities and war all planned under Yahweh’s merciless willpower!

Read this carefully:

How about you about reading the whole bible( spend 15-30 minutes each day, and you'll be finished within a year) and really, begin from Exodus. I want you to understand the cruel, despotically -overpowering ,blood thirty being Yahweh is. I want you to read about what happened to the freed Israelites once Moses had been commanded by God to tell the Pharoah to liberate them. I want you carefully scrutinize this sonorous line-reiterated after almost every passage in the beginning of Exodus, "but I will harden Pharoah's heart, so that he will NOT let the people go" God ordered the Pharoah to let them go- so then why was he hardening the kings heart so that he will adamantly REFUSE to let them go? I would especially like for you to carefully read the book of Job, to really get a more profound insight upon Yahweh's diabolical nature. Read upon what happens to Job, a noble God- fearing man from OZ who bore 10 children and cared for plenty of animals. Read and meticulously observe how God made a pact with Satan by unsuspectingly slaughtering all his children and animals- only to see if this respectable man would curse him once in return.

To really comprehend the genuinely sadistic, insidious character of God, read Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Judges, and Job. Those books are extremely compelling.

John, if you asked a good many Americans, they would say YES, and that the USA is the "promised land," and fundamentalist American Protestants are god's "chosen people." That North and South America are not so much as mentioned once in the bible is beside the point.

okay! so when u get over to my place n stay for as long as to get the citizenship, the God u r talking about will be "deactivated" according to ur theory ?? right? ;)

does it work when theres a flood, u know how to swim but you want ur personal God to fly you away and all u decide to do is to wait for the help! that way pal, i guess no God works and no God should work either.... All helps is keeping the faith in hand and doing the tasks as they come!

He might be. I dont say He surely cant, cuz the same God or the same force has given you the mind to ask and given me the mind to answer this....

but your statement might rock cuz i m no American, so the God might not be watching me....!

Nice theory!!! heeheeheee!

I believe that God is too massive a concept to try and labal american or not. God is God. He is everything. Different peoples may call God by a different name, but they are all refering to God. A higher power...male, female, black, white etc. American is a term that our society has created and therefore cannot be applied to God. Just my opinion though.

A lot of Americans would like us to believe so. However, Jesus was a Jew and the Jews have been the chosen people according to the bible.

If God eas an American then then Jesus would have been a native American.

Well he's certainly been Americanized that's for sure. People would have no problem with a painting of Jesus in front of the American flag.

God is the sum of all being...there is no nationality...really? You really think that God is an American? "He" is no more American than "He" is any other country. God=Infinity

No, She is not.
But, then what deity would be?
Maybe the god of money, fast cars, sex & drugs & rock 'n roll.
Any God i could imagine would be more global, or more galaxic, ah hell, more universal, for that matter or anti-matter. And what about the glu-ons?
