My hair legnth is about in the middle of my chest(a few inches past my shoulders). How long do you think it will take to get to my butt(my lower back)? they say you grow a half inch every month. Could someone please give me an estimate, I really want to know how long it will take my hair to grow out.

It depends on a lot of factors. Hair grows at a different rate for everyone. Keep your hair healthy, don't get chemical treatments too often (I literally wait until I have about 3 inches of growth before getting my hair done again). My hair grows very quickly (close to an inch a month) and my stylist said a lot has to do with the factors I mentioned earlier. Also, taking multivitamins that are high in folic acid, prenatal vitamins or birth control pills can also speed up hair growth. (when I was on the pill I could not keep up with how quickly my hair grew).

personally i dont think hair grows that much a month, because for me, the longer my hair gets the slower it grows, so it'll probably take a little over a year maybe even a year and a half.

IT REALLY DEPENDS ON what kind of hair you have....if u have fine to wavy hair it should take u 4-5 mths. If Its semi-course to frizzy curly it will take abt 6-9 mths.

I cant say how long, but just remember you will want to trim it every 4 weeks. Trimming not only stops damaged ends in their tracks, it may also stimulate growth. Good luck!
