God doesn't compare our sins with each others sins....He compares our sins with His righteousness. What does it matter...if both are sinners, it takes the same repentance and confession to be forgive. Having said that the judgment may be harsher for the Pope because God holds leaders to a higher standard because of the influence they have on the sheep.

I'd think they would be treated equal considering they are both only human. Supposedly a trader to God is the greatest of sinners, if a pope sinning fell into this category he would be the greatest.

"Stop judging, that you may not be judged."
(Matthew 7:1)

Why then do you judge your brother?
Or you, why do you look down on your brother?
For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of God.
(Romans 14:10)

With love in Christ.
