You'll have to do a lot more than push-ups, they might help with your upper arms (but you should have some rest days otherwise you'll end up damaging the muscles) but for proper body building you'll need to join a gym.

the bodyweight that you start at really has no bearing. bodyweight training will be a good start you will some an increase in strength and muscle mass if you are consuming enough cals on a regular basis. when you eventually start resistance training that's when the real gains will come. for now focus on push ups, pull ups, sprinting, stretching and any acitivities that may include jumping and swimming.

hard to say how much anyone might gain with out seeing the diet and entire training program

body building is a great sport with many goals and rewards. the reward is in itself, not in winning or anything. ya most body builders are short, you're fine. anyone can start anywhere for bodybuilding.

the pushups thing sounds good, it also shows really good dedication and commitment. 100 pushups every night is a lot.

you will start seeing results soon if you keep working that hard. also, dont forget to work equally as hard on the lower body, a huge thing in bodybuilding is to have balance in the lower and upper body. and just in general, no chick wants a guy with a beefcake upper body and chickeny little legs.

Do not focus on result, focus on consistency. This is the problem of American society. People want fast result, has no patient, and easily get bored with it. People want fast acting powerful chemical solution even in medical field. Fast Fast Fast, more more more.........same in dating and relationship. We have no discipline, patience, no respect.
