No, you are not an uncle. An uncle is when one of your siblings (sister or brother) has a child. You are now "second cousin" to your cousin's child.

Just like everyone said, you would be 2nd cousins. Depending on your relationship with your cousin, you could be referred to as "Uncle". My cousins kids call me Aunt K. Congrats!

Technically you are a proud second cousin...but in my family we are really close! My cousins are as close as siblings so I call them my nieces and nephews and they all call me Aunt terpinturtle! LOL well they really use my name! I almost slipped and wrote it there!!! And...not for nothing...but I am their favorite Aunt! ;)
