This chain is 1/2 inch x 1/8.

Multispeed chains are 1/2 x 3/32.

These are inside link measurements. While it is possible to use a 10 speed chain on a 6 speed. You cannot use a six speed chain on a ten speed. (the outside dimension is wider).

You will need a 1/2 x 3/32 chain for either a nine or ten speed. For your nine speed. I'd go for the nine speed it will wear longer.

You could covert your bike to a single speed and use the 1/2 x 1/8 chain if you were really keen. But a nine (or ten speed) chain is probably the more sensible option

No, it won't fit. The chain length is not the issue but the chain width is, 9-speed hubs use a narrow chain due to sprocket spacing. 7-8 speed bikes use a slightly wider chain. Single speeds use the widest. If you want the chain more than having 9-speeds convert it into a single speed.(Jenson sales the conversion kit)

Probably not. Different gears might use diferent chains. A 9 speed chain is narrower than a 7-8 speed. I don't know about a single speed. I would think that if you have 9 speed it's a no no. Sorry.

Length is the only possible problem, so yes, you can use it on a mountain bike. But, I'm guessing the blue color (or whatever color you get) is going to be anodized onto it, so it will wear off when you shift gears. Just go find a normal chain at Walmart or something.

positioned your motorcycle interior the equipment you like, then do no longer replace gears. it is going to hold out amazingly like a single velocity motorcycle, yet will nonetheless enable the choice to alter that single velocity equipment setup without using equipment.
