My ex and I dated for 2 years and parted on ok terms but the thing is that we both didn't really want to break up but we were both being stubborn. Now it has been a few months and I am dating someone new and so is he. I get so jealous though of him and his new girlfriend and I don't know what to do. I am happy with my current guy. He doesn't treat me bad or anything. I like him a lot but don't want to hurt his feelings by telling him that I still have feelings for my ex. My ex and I are also still friends and everything. But I am having trouble being 'just friends.' I want more. And I just can't deal with the thought of him being with someone else. How can I move on? How can I accept just friendship? Should I tell my current bf? I don't want to mess anything up with him if I am going to stay with him. My ex seems to think that me not wanting to be friends is selfish. I just want some time to heal from our split but he won't give me the space. Help.

your ex apparently still has very strong feelings for you as well have you ever really sat down and discussed the feelings you both have and accepted the blame you both have had part in the break up. it sounds like to me that the dance in far from over so.... get it out in the open and find out what direction you're both heading in if he is not heading back in your direction drop him as a friend its just too much for you to keep emotionally

If I were you, I wouldn't tell your ex how you feel just yet. If he don't feel the same way, then you put yourself out there for some real embarassment. If it's meant for you two to be together, it will happen. I don't think it's 100% right though for you to keep your current bf as a back up plan. IT's not fair to him, especially if he treats you well.

You need to tell your ex to see if he feels the same way. Then stay away from your ex until you make a final decision.
Don't tell the new boyfriend unless you are going to split up and go back to the ex.

Well if your ex doesn't want to give you any space then chances are that he still digs you. Maybe you should have a talk with your ex and see if you two want to try to work things out and try again.

Kill them both and start over. Wait... no. no. Marry your current boyfriend and invite the other as your brides mate, so this way you can still hang out with him without raising suspicion. No. no. no, even better... You go out with you ex's dad and you tell you current boyfriend that you're going out with his mom, but just as friends. That way, both guys find common ground and will become friends and won't mind dating you simultaneously. I should be a soap opera screen writer. It's life made for TV.

I think you should talk to your ex about these feelings, see if he feels the same. You admit you want to be with him so whats the problem? The other guy? you're happy with him, but know you will be happier with your ex.... ya'll need some closure. Who knows maybe ya'll were meant to be. good luck!!

well you have to decide which guy you like best. my suggestion is not going out with your ex because its kind of awkward once you break up and get back together again, trust me. ive done it before and the results werent too good. my advice, go out with the new guy.

dont break it off with the new guy. i have been in your situation, and i found it easiest not to talk to my ex, and i just tried to moved on. that was in january, i broke up with the "new guy" and i still havent talked to my ex, i have been trying to move on, but i still think of him every day. it will pass, good luck.

If you want him back dump new guy and tell him, if not cut him out of your life and move on with new guy. Best thing you could do for yourself.
