They reproduce the same way everything else does: sexual intercourse. But birds DON'T get pregnant, they lay eggs. They must stil have sex though to fertilize those eggs before they are laid or they won't develop into baby birds.

Internal fertilization of the female's ovum enables the egg to develop into a chick. One of the parent's will usually "nest" to keep the egg/s at a proper temperature to be hatched within 21 or so days. It varies from species to species. See the source below for additional information...

They will press their cloacas (an opening that used for reproduction and excretion) together in what is called a "cloacal kiss" and the male will pass sperm to the female, to fertilize her eggs. Some birds such as ducks, ostriches, swans, etc. actually have a "penis".

the male mounts the female and then sort of like jumps/humps or w/e

Same way people do ...the male just has to fertilize when brooding.
