Someone told me that if a girl says she used to like you or she says she used to have a crush on you; in girl talk it means that she currently likes you. Is this true all you girls out there?

It means that she used to think you were cute and liked you. Does it mean she still does? The only way to find out is to ask her. Say well if you used to feel that way, how do you feel now? Do you still have a crush on me? Put that ball right back into her court and see how she hits it back!

Could be either way here. I remember when I was very young and had a crush on a boy. I finally, down the road, was noticed by this boy and I was embarrassed to admit that I still liked him so I told all of my friends that I used to have a crush on him. However, it could also be her way of sparing your feelings because she really doesn't have that crush anymore. But, even years down the road I still remembered my crushes and still was interested if they just would have asked. Sometimes those childhood crushes never go away. I still remember all of mine vividly and think about them with special feelings.

you have to pay attention to the words. You said "USED to have...". That simply means the girl DID have a crush on a guy, but the feeling may have been gone for several reasons, like turn-offs, distance(they got separated by location), misunderstandings, girl lost her feelings when guy gets a girlfriend, etc..

If I used to have a crush on someone, I used to have a crush on someone. It does not apply to the present.

no its not true i had a very very brief crush and i think he thinks i still want him and i DON'T anymore it is so annoying because i feel weird around him and i actually like his girlfriend and i wish i never even entertained the thought but i wear my heart on my sleeve so to answer your question no it is NOT i repeat NOT true

sometimes it does and sometimes i doesnt
i tell my guy friends i used to have crushes on them...but it doesnt mean i like them currently
but then sometimes there are girls who are too shy to say they like you currently so they tell you they used to like you

It means that she did like you and theres a chance that she does like you right now. Just ask her if you want to know so bad. No one else can tell you but her.

no i dont think so. ive told guys before that i used to like them and thats all it meant was that i USED to liek them.. most of the time i was friends with them so i was comfortable telling them. but it could still mean that shes interested. if you like her try telling her you used to like her too. or something like maybe we could still make it work you know just see if she still has feelings.

Yeah. For me anyway. It might also mean that she needs you to leave her alone for a little while. Maybe she's in a relationship or something.
