I believe there are a few of them who have lives outside their racing careers. They spend time with their families and go fishing or whatever their interests are. It wouldn't be healthy for them to not have a life away from racing, they need a change, a break and something to do to get their minds off racing during their days off. Plus, they have a 3 month vacation at the end of the year each year and many of them go on vacations and enjoy their lives then. I know some of the drivers went out of the country last year to visit other countries on vacation.

I imagine that Jeff Gordon does now with his new baby. But to be honest, how can anyone have a "normal" life when you are in the public's eye more than you aren't? When they decided on their careers, they decided to give up the opportunities at what we would consider a "normal" life. But then again, what is the definition of a "normal" life? Do any of us have one? Probably not.

I would say a lot of them do because they talk about spending time with their families and doing things with their family. I think almost all them have a life outside of their racing career.
