my sister is a *****, thats all. she complains and criticizes and all sorts of stuff. i get annoyed by her words, she talz and talx, but i just dont care. she expects me to care! how do i ignore her so much that she gives up hope of trying to change me?

Lock her in the closet-Remember Duck Tape. She will leave you alone after that. Trust me........
Or you could take up Kung Fu and ask her not move as you demo your strikes and kicks. She will leave you alone after that too...
You could be mature about it and communicate and ask her nicely to leave you alone.
I would however suggest taking a really embarrassing photo of her and just remind her the Internet is dying to see it. Yes, that will make her leave you alone too!
Someday you will be friends and really love one another. Right now it is pretty much war.
You could just do what I did to my older brother back in the day. Just pretend to listen and they will go away.

Well if you live in the same household, it will be difficult. You need to sit her down and tell her you don't care. Ignoring her will only make her try to get through to you even more!!And that is the complete opposite of what you want. But let her know you are going to be you reguardless of what he says or does. You are living your life for you and not for her!!

as a big sister, let me tell you, she will never give up. she loves you and wants to push you into being something she thinks is great. i have 2 little sisters, and i push them all the time, school work, not hanging out with the wrong crowd. however, i can also tell you the secret... sometimes, give in. let her talk, let her complain, and know in your head you are going to continue doing things you way... just let her feel like she is helping you.

You are so lucky to have a sister, my sister passed away in Dec. 2006. You should call your sister names. And you do care because if you didn't you wouldn't be mentioning so many things in your question.

Read or pretend to be reading. Put on headphones and listen to music or at least pretend to be doing so whenever she is around. Act as if your not interested and eventually she will find a new audience.

tell her to "shut up" and stop taking" to you, you got rights and one of them is freedom, if someone in invading the then they must be told. just pray that she doesn't smack you after you've told her your peace of mind
