yes, because they don't have to date him. Besides they would rather see me with a wonderful man "out of my race" then with an alcoholic,uneducated,drug taken guy "in my race".

If i really liked that person then yes deff. There should never be a boundary between people due to race. Its a pointless selfish battle. But i think if i liked the person and thought it was worth it then by no means would i give into my parents.

My sister did. She dated someone of a different race and it didn't settle well with either my parents or my grandparents. It was awkward for them for awhile. I hate seeing my family upset with me or whatever, so I personally wouldn't do it. Thankfully I don't have to worry about that. =) Good luck!

yes because if u like the person then the race should not matter and if ur parents dont agree then u need to talk to them and tell them that its ur chioce not theres. its not fair tthat ur parents get to say not date them, its ur choice and the should respect that. its not like they have to marrie the person !

Well, that would be a personal choice of course. You want to be happy but you also want to please your parents. As much as we love our parents, and knowing that they have far more experience in life than we do, sometimes they can be wrong about someone.
I suppose something amicable could be worked out.
