Fortunately, it's summer so you can wear your hair up all the time and no one will be the wiser.

Also, hair tends to grow faster when its warm out. How long it will take to grow out, though, depends on how long you want it. Typically hair grows about 1/2-3/4 inch a month.

Sometimes, too, when hair is just cut it needs a week or do to "grow into" its new cut. In the meantime, try styling it differently and experimenting with updos so you can live with it for now.

Anyway, I'd say by September it should be totally grown out, assuming you didn't cut it too drastically.

First, please dnt typ lyk ths anymre. It's annoying! Sorry =[ Secondly, try BIOTIN. It's a vitamin supplement you can get at just about any Walmart, Walgreens, Target, CVS, GNC, etc. Just make sure you don't have a family history of kidney stones and stick with the lower potency first, don't go straight to 5000 mcg or anything like that -- it can be dangerous! I have been taking 1000 mcg Biotin for about a week now and my hair is noticeably a bit longer. Also, eat more protein like bananas and salmon...that helps. Go to community.livejournal.com/madradhair for those Biotin claims in the Memories section. Hope this helps :)

Hair grows at different rates. The average hair grows 9 inches a year but certain cases (like my hair) grow up to 14 inches a year. There aren't any methods that would keep your hair healthy so you just have to wait it out.

it depends on how dramatic the layers are, as far as i know there isn't much you can do, but you should look up different ways to style it according to the layers, you can also try just sitting in front of a mirror and playing with it after you get used to it and find some cute ways to style it you may love it.
