i'm a 21 year old female who has always dated guys but have always considered myself bicurious in the least.
I'm extremely interested in trying to meet girls, but have never had close relationships with many female friends...will this affect me if i try to have a relationship with a girl? and also, are there any bi girls/lesbians that are patient enough to go slow so I can decide if it's really right for me? I've made out with girls before and enjoyed it a lot, but I'm worried I'd be uncomfortable with sex. Really any experiences about meeting girls and starting out would help, thanks!

in addition, I don't want to use anyone...I am interested in a relationship, but I have to start somewhere...I would be completely honest with them...and If they were patient I believe it would turn into something.
And to the judgemental so called christians (love and acceptance...jesus will LOVE you), I'm an atheist, so I'm slightly nonplussed by your threats. Thank you to all the people who gave thoughtful answers and didn't spread their ignorance all over this page.

You approach it as you would any other relationship. Just be honest. Everyone has to start somewhere so I doubt anyone would really take offense at your curiosity. I don't think your lack of close female friendships would be a big problem. After all, there are friendships and there are emotional relationships and there are physical relationships and they're all a bit different from each other.

I would suggest seeking out lesbian-friendly bookstores, cafes, and clubs. Maybe check out http://www.meetup.com to see if there is a queer group you'd be interested in.

Homosexuality is a sin. You should deny yourself any feeling of lust for women. This sin has dire consequences. You have free will to commit this sin, but you can not decide the consequences and if you do this you will pay. Run as far away as you can from this sin.

I think that it would be using a person to go out with them just to see if you like their gender. That's just me though.
