if you are talking of firearms permits then certain states have recipitory agreements that one will honor the others. check your states websites or NRA website for a list of those states.

Depends on the permit. If you are talking about guns, no. you cannot carry a gun in another state, just because you have a permit in another.

Think a driveing permit is the only one legal to use in another state. If the age reguirements are different, this may even be different. Fishing and hunting permits are legal( I think) in any state if you are military (as it should be !)Gun permits are strickly for that individual state.Thank God they are picky about this.
