They took blood out of my right arm~and now the dots are on my right side only--does this matter?:

Sounds like petechiae; google for a picture, if it looks like what you have, then google "petechiae and blood donation"

I don't know but I think I'd call a local hospital's nurse-line and ask what they think. It could be unrelated but maybe you're allergic to iodine, or are having a reaction to something common to blood doners.

Take a wet sponge and see if the dots come off.

Unless you live in the Mid-West and you gave blood outdoors, and got chiggers you better call the doc. One sided......with great stress if you've had chicken pox it could be shingles if they start hurting.

Uh....YES! That's not a normal reaction from giving blood. Go see your doctor immediately.
