I completely agree. What happened to the phrase "you can't have your cake and eat it too"? That's what's going on. There is probably not a single one of us whose great grandparents, etc didn't arrive in this country as an immigrant. The fact is they were all willing to assimilate with the existing society and laws that were already established. They did not expect to come to this country and create their own home away from home with just the added freedoms of this one. This is our country, not a Super 8. You just can't upgrade to a Holiday Inn because you have frequent flyer miles. Why would anyone think its right that people who are illegally in our country deserve more rights than a citizen. Do people think they are "guests", well guess what even guests over stay their welcome. And as far as people pointing out all of the Americans faults, of course we have them, did anyone say we didn't. Did anyone say we disagree that some horrible things have been done? If you're concerned with all the horrible things the US has done, the pollution, the crime, the wars and whatever else it is that upsets you, why don't you go see if you can sneak into some other country and get them to change their laws to cater your needs. Just do us that favor so the rest of us can stop our heads from exploding, because heaven help us if they did, because we probably don't have the health care coverage... that's been put aside for your "illegal friends"

The term Black is an insult to me ... to all of us. We are all Colored. The term Black is referred to something without color. In fact Black is not a color but a shade - a lack of all color. All throughout scripture, science, and literature Black is a term used to describe something dark, bad, hidden from the light. There is a reason why so many people are afraid of the dark. How many people have you heard being afraid of the light or color? So how should we refer to each other? African? African-American? Maybe so but I know that I have more than just an African descent. Should I ignore the races of my other ancestors by ignoring them when I check that little box on the application form? No! In fact, I complete my applications by writing in the word Colored. I only check African-American if I have no choice such as on IRS forms. So, to answer your question ...Yes! It is past time to stop calling ourselves Black. James Brown had good intentions when he coined the term "I'm Black and I'm Proud" but it should have been, "I'm Colored and I'm Beautiful" Thank you

An illegal alien is a criminal so it's not wrong to use this term. But the term illegals will always refer to illegal aliens while criminals can mean anyone who committed any type of crime.

Personally, I use the term "illegals" most of the time but I sometimes use "criminals".

Ok, I can call them criminals instead. That is what they are.

Mr. Favor: are you an American? Well if you are, you would not that we do not have to mind our own business because THIS IS our business. This IS our business when our tax dollars pay for this.

Analogy: If you caught someone looking in your wallet, wouldn't you at least say, "What the hell are you doing?"

Ya know skip you got a good point.

Can you imagine though, Bush saying "We can't punish all criminal aliens. We have to give them what they want".

And, oh, "We will never negotiate with terrorists" in the same breath.

How about 'Mexillegals' to differentiate them from the sleeper cell terrorists living in our midst? They are polluting the air by all the bean farts, too.
There are more criminals in the Mexillegals crowd than in the Cuban boat people Castro released to infest the U.S.
