I agree, it might be too much sugar. Or too much stress. Try cutting down on sugar (I know, it's HARD!!!), and getting a little more sleep.
There are coping tricks, too -- organizing your daily schedule, leaving yourself notes, that sort of thing.
If the brain fog gets really bad, you should see a doctor for a check-up. It might be easily remedies -- if not, at least you'll know you're not heading for early senility! (-:
Good luck -- I'm brain foggy too, but just can't give up the sugar very easily. Although I've really cut back, and exercise seems to help me 1) cut back and 2) think more clearly.

About a year ago, I was walking around with a foggy brain. I got checked out and the doctor found that my iron and blood level was very low. In fact it was so low that I had to get a blood transfusion. Feeling weak, tired, and in the clouds are a symptom.
