Sony, Alpine, Kenwood perhaps. I want to be able to plug my iPod into it. $50-$100 roughly.

Good luck finding any of those brands, with an aux input at that, for under $100. If rarely seen any with aux input for under $150. $150 seems more reasonably to me for what you are looking for.
Stay away from Sony, Pioneer/Premier, Jensen, or anything you've never heard of.
You can find an Alpine on sale, with aux input, on sale for about $125 if you look around.
Get a good brand, minus the afformentioned, now and it'll sound good as well as last you.

first off there isnt anything wrong with sony or pioneer. wal mart caries some good head units for cheep

go to walmart they got jvc pioneer for 88.95 and sony and pioneer from 110.00 dlls also cheap mp3 for 88 dlls
