How many idiots have you met that were in charge ? How many times have you talked to the bus driver and it turned out he was one smart guy who knew a lot of stuff Have you ever read the statistics on IQ vs jobs held ?Most people with IQ's over 140 - Gas station attendants and so forth - Average or slightly below Politicans
The ignorant the stupid the rude and the mean seem to get ahead and rewarded in our society
I find it harder and harder to see a Karmatic point here
Most Christians I have met are horrible people filled with rage and lie on a regular basis by and large thieves and so on -
Yet of the lowest classes in our society the people have been the oppisite of what I have been told to expect
Most of our society seems to be a big lie with the rude the mean and so forth clearly at the helm With a jack boot on the "undesirables" neck when with a little observation - aren't so undesirable and actually walk the walk that those in charge talk
I am missing the "Karma"

It was meant to be an open ended question that got answers like

I think that Karma is real because -----

Or you have this or that wrong because -------

Or I think your right because ---------

That sort of thing

While not absolute, your points are well taken. The Lovenstein Institute is a think tank of respected historians, psychiatrists, sociologists and psychologists who attempt to peg the IQs of US presidents. The tank claims accuracy within five points. Following are the IQs of the presidents since FDR:
Clinton -- 182
Carter -- 175
Kennedy -- 174
Nixon -- 155
Roosevelt -- 147
Truman -- 132
Johnson -- 126
Eisenhower -- 122
Ford -- 121
Reagan -- 105
Bush (41) -- 98
Bush (43) -- 91

The six Dems had an average of 156. The six Repubs had an average of 115.5. I think it speaks to overall values. The higher IQ presidents have been the ones who have at least recognized our better angels. The lower IQ presidents tend to be more authoritarian. The same probably holds true for society as a whole.

it only proves that life is unfair! But NO. It is how you make it.
You see good people prefer to stay humble and contented with what they have, may it be a simple job or a simple living so as long as they're happy about it or perhaps they don't have the perfect opportunity and rather have their talents and skills get wasted! That makes them so unwise while the other type of people strive hard just to attain a remarkable way of living even if it means living up in a dirty and sinful life. And yes, politicians, executives and the like may not be that smart but i'm pretty sure their stupidly wise! but hey i still believe in karma, and this people will have to meet their perfect karma at the end of their journey.

just my two cents!..

Well I am sorry if your not capable of seeing Karma, its more of a motion, than substance.
Rather or not you notice it working does not matter. It is the way the universe acts, untill the end of time.
Karama is simply the present (as in now) which depends on what has been done (as in eariler).
Buddhist believe that Karma is liken unto dominos falling over one after another, a new domino add for every action that you do in present state.
Karma is very complex. It may not be just, or formidabble at times but it is there. In america Karma could also be known as fate.
We see the fate of the falling egg heading towards the hard wood floor. Does the egg deserve to shatter? Who is to say.
You are giving a mental process of judgmental justice to nonintelligent incompassing force of time-space. Your saying that justice exists out side of the mind. As if the egg is being judge for what it has done, as if falls to the ground from the frig. It has done nothing to deserve destruction, for it is nothing more then an egg. Nevertheless the karamatic presence of forward motion still exists. You have opened the frig door in raging stravation, tiping the egg out of its postion. The egg falls, diving through thin air, raging towards it doom. At the last second you dive for the egg and catch it.
Karma exists, even though you may not notice it.

I am missing the "Karma"
Should be...

I am missing the "Justice."

There's no such thing as Karma. Its made up so people would not harm others, like religion. The truth, survival of the strongest and the fittest. It has nothing to do with IQ, but IQ can be an asset paired with strength.

No I've noticed sometimes the same thing occurs . the only idea I can come up with is the natural karmic tendancies governing happiness .
And this is of spiritual relevance . you do good or anticipate good and you receive joy this is a natural process that could be the significant part of karma that is referred to.also this can transcend the rank and file of job and social levels.
peace

So, time for me to quit my job and go work at the gas station I guess. There's an old adage along the lines of the only people interested in running for office are the ones that shouldn't.

The original idea of Karma, at least in the easter tradition, is that it gets adjusted in your next life, so that the dumb rich guy would be the smart bus driver in his next life.
