No. A voice is proof of existence. You many not be *who* you say you are, but you would exist.
If I were from the past, say 2000 years ago, and traveled to the future and used a phone, I might doubt the existence of the person on the other end. We in the modern world have enough experience with a telephone to know better.

to be sincere not over the phone but sometimes (a bit influenced by "the Truman Show" (the movie)), i wonder if the people in here are really people or just computer programs.
