I noticed that as soon as I saw I had my period that I would get cramps, I learned that they can be psychosomatic and then mine went away. This could help but sometimes it is not the case.

Good old icepack should be your best friend. It draws the blood away from the andomen, thhen after you have iced it for awhile a long hot shower or heating pad is in order. They also have these things called Thermacare pads that you put across your tummy and heat up to 8 hours. I did those after I had my csection with my daughter. The pain and cramping was so intense and that really relieved that pain. Other than that icy hot-etc. Lots of water. Cut down on sugars and soda since they cause more bloating and gas buildup. This soon shall pass.

I use this every month and its amazing. Buy marjoram essential oil (health store or a pharmacy) and mix 3 drops of it with a teaspoon of any other oil (jojoba oil is very good, as is almond, grapseed etc..) and in a clockwise motion, massage it into your abdomen. It has a nice smell to it which calms your nerves and its warming which helps with the cramps. I do this 2 times a day. You can also buy a heating pad or a hot water bottle thing and apply that a few times a day. tea helps me as well. (chamomile and raspberry leaf are great) Stretching. (sitting cross legged and leanig forward...anthing that stretches the groin and back will ease the pain)

when you are getting a severe cause of them, try a heat pack.or if you dont want to go buy one you could just get hot water from the sink and put it into a water bottle and lie down and place the bottle on the area where it hurts the most.the heat should calm it down for a while.just keep it on untill the pain goes away

Try a heating pad or buy one of those over the counter heating pads made especially for menstrual cramps.

A heating pad usually helps me. And a big cup of Chamomile tea, paired with a good book on the couch.

Believe it or not, even though you won't feel like it, exercise helps most. Swimming is great.
You could also try a heating pad.
