One average, my 3 year old son gets about 10 erections a day. Is this normal?

My 3 year old is constantly putting his hands down his pants to adjust himself. It seems to happen alot and everyday. I have a 10 year old son and i remember only a couple of times him having an erection. I know it is nothing sexual...but what causes it and is having that many a day normal?

He doesn't get an erection from having his hands in his pants...he puts his hands in his pants after the fact to adjust.

I have 3 sons and at that age i think they always have thier hands in thier pants.
As far as normal i dont know i never counted.

My son does the same thing . Yes its normal , some get more than others but it is normal. I asked the Dr to make sure everything was ok with him , he said you would need to worry if he wasnt getting them

I think its perfectly normal. At that age they tend to realize they have something different and then they get to feel that the "funny" sensation from touching it. Little boys do it more than girls.

Totally normal. Caused by biology mostly, and a little curiosity. nothing to be worried about, it doesn't meen the same thing to them as it does to us.

normal. just explain that yes it feels good (they already know that) and that it is something to be done alone (bedroom/bathroom). also mention that no one is to touch his privates except mom/dad in the bath to clean him or the doctor to check him. worked with my 2 boys.
